ScrubHive Services Limited – Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to ScrubHive Services Limited. By booking or using our cleaning and gardening services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between ScrubHive, our service providers (cleaners and gardeners), and our clients.

2. Services Provided

We offer a wide range of services to both residential and commercial clients, including:

  • Residential Services
  • Commercial Services
  • Hospitality Services
  • Post-Construction Cleaning
  • Specialised Cleaning Services
  • Gardening Services

3. Bookings and Payments

  • Services must be booked through our official contact methods (phone, email, or website).
  • All bookings are subject to availability with a 50% upfront payment.
  • Payment is due upon service completion after an invoice is generated unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit/debit card, or direct invoice (for ongoing contracts).
  • Prices are confirmed at booking and may vary based on service type and location.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of the 50% service fee deposit.
  • Repeated cancellations may lead to termination of service agreements.

5. Access and Safety

  • Clients must ensure safe and timely access to their premises.
  • Unsafe or inaccessible environments may result in cancellation and a call-out fee.
  • We do not move heavy furniture or handle hazardous materials without prior arrangement.

6. Service Conduct and Client Interaction

For Clients:

  • Clients must not engage service providers in private discussions about jobs outside ScrubHive.
  • Hiring or attempting to hire ScrubHive service providers for private or direct work without company consent is strictly prohibited.
  • If a client wishes to employ a cleaner or service provider directly, a one-off release fee of £500 is payable to ScrubHive. Only after payment and written confirmation may the worker be released from their obligation to ScrubHive.
  • Violations may result in immediate termination of services and potential legal action.

For Cleaners and Gardeners:

  • Service providers are not permitted to accept or solicit work from ScrubHive clients outside the company’s platform or system.
  • Violations result in immediate termination, forfeiture of wages, removal from rosters, and potential legal action.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • ScrubHive Services Limited holds public liability and employer’s liability insurance.
  • We are not liable for damages from pre-existing faults, improper installation, or unreported hazards.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Client data is handled per UK GDPR.
  • Data will not be shared without consent, except where legally required.

9. Employment and Opportunity Policy

  • ScrubHive supports equal opportunity employment.
  • Our platform allows workers to choose when and where they work.
  • We promote fair pay and a safe environment.

10. Termination of Service

  • Clients or ScrubHive may terminate services with 7 days' notice.
  • Immediate termination may occur due to abuse, breach, or unsafe conditions.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website or shared via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
